No Escape (1994)

No Escape (1994)

The film is a very loose adaptation of the 1987 novel "The Penal Colony" by Richard Herley. The movie has been compaired to Robert A. Heinlein's short story "Coventry", "Escape from New York" (1981) and its sequel "Escape from L.A." (1996)the TV movie called "New Eden" (1994) along with "Fortress", "Papillon", "Blood Camp Thatcher".

Sure it is a futuristic prison movie but the warring camps and the anti-social anti-hero mostly bring to mind "The Road Warrior" (1981) without the cars.  Alzur

The year's 2022 and prisons have turned into private companies without government interference. Absolom is the name of a prison colony island where the sadistic warden (Michael Lerner) plays off the Outsiders against the Insiders. The former are an unorganized bunch of savages wearing masks and hunting with primitive weapons, led by the relentless but charismatic Walter Marek. The Insiders, however, attempted to found a peaceful community where they grow crops and seek for moral redemption. The newly arrived and military trained prisoner Robbins would make a great asset for the Insiders, since he's the only one to have ever escaped from the Outsiders, but he's stubborn and anti-social and solely intends to get off the island alone. (IMDB  Coventry)

Pet (2016)

Pet (2016)

At 377 and 326 I can talk about wild ducks in the movie industry and while it will have nothing to do with Dominic Monaghan or Ksenia Solo and a psycho animal control worker it would still be of less interest than free beer. I am not saying it is a bad movie, basically I am not saying anything or at least don't want to and so while it gives no idea what the horror movie is about, in the long run or even short the difference is minimal.

Kind of like the review that was obsessed with page 9 and so here are the screen shots and forget page 9 and even the wild ducks. Well I better watch the movie now and see what it is about.

The Eye Creatures (1965)

The Eye Creatures (1965)
aka
Attack of the Eye Creatures

The Eye Creatures (1965) aka Attack of the Eye Creatures. Self proclaimed schlockmeister Larry Buchanan's remake of the 1957 black and white American International Pictures film Invasion of the Saucer Men. It was one of four screenplays that API sent Buchanan with instructions to make new versions under alternate titles with the intent to release them directly to TV. Alzur V&D

Two teenagers meet up with scary aliens and when they escape, none of the adults in town believe them. So it's up to the teens to get together to save the Earth--just like in other 50s and 60s sci-fi films like THE BLOB and EARTH VS. THE GIANT SPIDER. (IMDB planktonrules)

Oh, the Eye Creature!

A space ship, imagine that.
