Metal Skin (1994)

The story concerns a group of people in their early twenties. Joe, who lives with his insane father, gets a job at a wholesale warehouse where he meets Dazey, the local Don Juan, and Savina, a Satan-worshipping shoplifter. Joe, Savina, Dazey and Rosalyn, Dazey's girlfriend, are inextricably bound in a tangle of love, lust, insanity, death, and hot rodding.

This film is of a largely unexplored genre; "teen movies" about love-sick young stars just don't work anymore, and Wright reminds us of that fact with gritty characters and realistic dialogue. Very few directors are willing to go to the lengths that he does, refusing to tell a story that involves conventional moralities and cardboard characters, nor does he balk at portraying the violence perpetrated by these unhappy youths in their quest for identity and meaning. Not for the morally squeamish, but definitely worth watching. (IMDB Karen Clark)

Arrogant and intolerant racist Dan (well played to the hateful hilt by James Ralston) throws his sister Denise (an excellent portrayal by Susan McCullough) out on the street after Susan informs Dan that she's romantically involved with a black man. In the wake of Susan being murdered by a mysterious killer, her more sympathetic younger brother Vance (a fine and engaging performance by Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees fame) and black priest Father Jessie (a solid and likable turn by Chuck Patterson) decide to investigate. The Funhouse Massacre (2015)

...it's Halloween night, a group of lunatics have escaped from a high security mental asylum and are killing the patrons of a fun-house. Nope, not much new there! Still, at least the film never pretends to be anything other than a whole load of silly splattery fun, its tongue firmly in cheek as the psychopaths slash, chop, smash, slice and dice their way through the attraction's blissfully unaware customers, who believe that the killing is all part of the show—at least until it is their turn to die.
