The Sinister Urge (1961 Ed Wood Jr)

The film revolves around a series of murders of young women. The killer,
Dirk, works for a pornographer named Johnny Ryde. It is outright stated
that Dirk's impulsive murders are a direct result of viewing pornographic
pictures and films. This is stated both by Ryde's boss, Gloria Henderson,
and the police (represented by Lt. Carson, Sgt. Stone and Officer Kline).

Several subplots attempt to emerge during the course of the film: the
ongoing police investigation into underground pornographic distribution
(in one scene, a fight breaks out between two rivals, one of whom is
played by Wood himself); Ryde's attempts to shoot porn; Gloria's rising
concern about the out-of-control Dirk, which comes to a head when her
overlords in "the Syndicate" order her to remove Dirk permanently; and in
an obvious attempt to interject pathos into the film, the tribulations of
a young girl from a small Midwestern town who starts out seeking a career
as a legitimate actress, but who ends up making porn for Ryde and Gloria,
before becoming one of Dirk's victims.

Ironically, this "pornography expose" was Edward D. Wood Jr.'s last legitimate
film before delving into writing softcore pornography himself.

Night of the Ghouls (1959 Ed Wood)

Director: Edward D. Wood Jr.
Writer: Edward D. Wood Jr.

Night of the Ghouls is a 1959 horror film written and directed by Ed Wood.
It is a sequel of sorts to the 1955 film Bride of the Monster. The film
was not publicly exhibited until 1987, as Wood could not afford to pay
the lab fees to process the negatives, so they were held at a post-production
house for 23 years.

Wood had called it Revenge of the Dead. Towards the beginning of the film,
in the police station, a picture of Wood is visible on the wall.

It opens in a cemetery. Criswell, the "real" medium, rises from his coffin
to tell us of "monsters to be despised." Dr. Acula (Kenne Duncan) is a phony
medium aided by Valda Hansen, a bogus ghost, and Tor Johnson, wearing rags and
scar makeup as Lobo. The doctor swindles people by pretending to contact dead
relatives, but then accidentally succeeds in reviving a bunch of corpses that
bury him alive!

Amazon Jail aka Curral de Mulheres (1982 Brazil)

Sexy Brazilian women are lured to the Amazon with a promise of a
high paying job as a tour guide. When they arrive, they are taken
captive by a white slavery ring. One of the girls escapes during
the orgy, but she is killed in the jungle.Meanwhile, the gals in
the corral make their big break and escape into the jungle.
"Amazon Jail" by Oswaldo De Oliviera is an absolute sleaze. The
script is ridiculous, the acting is utterly bad,the characters are
one-dimensional,but who cares.
